Vasco is a captain of the Nauts, the guild responsible for transporting people and goods between the continent and Teer Fradee. He is a companion of De Sardet, and a possible romance option for a male or female De Sardet.
Background[]
Vasco was given to the Nauts as an infant and thus does not know anything about his original family. Probably born in 1312 after the Foundation of Peren, Vasco is one of the sea-given. He rose to the rank of captain and captained his own ship for some time. On his arrival in Teer Fradee he lost his rank when the admiral ordered him to join Legate De Sardet’s entourage.
When talking with Vasco during the break between travels at the merchant station, he gives you a side quest in which you have to retrieve his file stating information about his family. Although Vasco remembers little to nothing about his original family, he sees the Nauts as his family and always decides against violence against any Nauts, e.g. suggesting you wear a Naut uniform when entering their buildings to avoid anyone attacking you.
Statistics[]
De Sardet can acquire Vasco as a companion starting from level 2.

Trivia[]
Vasco's name is most likely inspired by the famous Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama (1469-1524), Admiral of the Portuguese Navy and Viceroy of Portuguese India.
