Dialogue[]
Go and speak to Bládnid, queen of the Gaís Rad[]
- Arwant: Who do you think you are? By what right do you enter the home of our queen?
- De Sardet: I am the emissary of the Congregation of Merchants, I have come to meet your leader.
- Síora: Come now, Arwant, you are not a watchdog! Where is my mother?
- Arwant: Síora! I didn't see you. You have come too late, your mother has gone to wage a war! They left for díd e kíden nádaigeis only a few hours ago.
- Síora: Oh no! We need to catch up with them, and avoid the shedding of blood. Please, haste!
- De Sardet: Very well then, let's be off!
- (Upon exiting the dwelling) Síora: In order to go towards díd e kíden nádaigeis, we must follow the path leading to the heights into the forest.
Go to the field of battle with Síora[]
- (Upon reaching the fork in the forest path)
- Síora: Wait! We should go left here. It's a more difficult path, but it's much shorter.
- De Sardet: Look at the tracks, they chose to take the path on the right it would seem.
- Síora: Before a battle, it makes sense that they wanted to avoid a path with more danger.
- De Sardet: If it is dangerous, let's not risk braving it when time is against us.
- Síora: We risk meeting a great many beasts, but if we follow the warriors, we risk catching up with them too late to sway them.
- (If path on the left is chosen) Síora: Thanks for listening to me. I fear my mother may have already thrown herself into the battle.
- (If path on the right is chosen) Síora:
Save Síora’s sister, Eseld[]
- Síora: Oh, no, no! The battle rages on! My sister is surrounded, we have to help her! Come!
- Síora: Eseld!
- Eseld: You are too late, Síora. Mother has fallen and we are defeated!
- Síora: No! No. No. This is not fair!
- De Sardet: I am so sorry.
- Eseld: Who is this woman? She resembles one of us but is dressed like a renaigse.
- De Sardet: I’m the ambassador of the Congregation of Merchants. I am sorry for your loss.
- Eseld: The Congregation? And what side are you on in this war? Those that massacre our people?
- Síora: Eseld, calm down! You know that Mother sent me to seek out allies.
- Eseld: You show up when the fight was nearly over! Was this part of your plan? You know that these monsters are taking our own, they must make honorable amends.
- Insist on the recent defeat.
- De Sardet: You have already lost one battle and haven’t had enough? You want to wage another?
- Eseld: That’s what I thought, you are like them, you think your life more precious! From which wood you are carved?
- Síora: Eseld!
- Natives: Reputation -1
- (Enter combat)
- De Sardet: That's enough! Have you calmed down yet?
- Eseld: You defeated me, but that changes nothing! These monsters massacred my mother and my people. I will not allow this crime to go unpunished!
- Síora: Eseld, rather than fighting amongst ourselves, we should be tending to the wounded.
- Eseld: You speak truly. I am...too weak to fight…or to help you. I shall return to the village. Kwa awelam seg, little sister.
- Síora: We must also find my mother, her body if…if she has passed onto death.
- De Sardet: Look at all this horror, how do you hope…?
- Síora: Look for her banner, she carries the mark of our clan.
- Speak of Congregation neutrality
- De Sardet: The Congregation is neutral. We hoped to stop this battle!
- Eseld: Stop this…battle? You are mad or a dreamer! This battle was destined! Our folk disappear one soul after the other since you arrived. We are not going to let this happen!
- (Result: Must choose another option)
- Charisma - Convince Eseld to forgo vengeance
- De Sardet: We did our best to come as fast as we could, and I fought by your side. Please, please take the time to at least hear me out. There has already been enough death, and you are wounded. This is not the time for vengeance!
- (If successful)
- Eseld: You may be right. Waiting for my vengeance will make it taste all the sweeter. I feel weak, might I ask you to watch over our own, Síora? I must return to the village.
- Síora: Go on ahead, we will tend to the wounded. Won’t we now?
- De Sardet: Yes, we will do everything we can.
- Síora: And find my mother, or her body, if…if she is indeed dead.
- De Sardet: Look at this massacre, how…
- Síora: Find her banner, it bears the symbol of our clan.
- (If failed)
- Eseld: You have a gift for words, and you resemble us, but you are tainted like all the others. You are trying to turn me from my duty to protect your allies. Stand aside!
- De Sardet: No! You won’t—
- Eseld: You want to arrest me? You will be the first to pay for these deaths!

- Intuition (1) - Remember the ritual of death
- De Sardet: We got here as fast as we could, I assure you, and we have fought by your side. Listen… After a battle, whether lost or won, the elders say that we must return the dead to the earth.
- Síora: And tend to the wounded. She is right, Eseld. This is no time to continue the fight.
- Eseld: Truly spoken. You are right and you know our traditions. I feel weak.
- De Sardet: You need to return to the village and care for your wounds. We will watch over the others.
- Eseld: Thank you. I’ll see you again, Síora.
- Síora: Thank you for soothing her anger. We must tend to the wounded now. And find my mother, or her body if…if she is indeed dead.
- De Sardet: Look at this massacre, how…
- Síora: Find her banner, it bears the symbol of our clan.
- Insist on the recent defeat.
Find the survivors on the field of battle (5)[]
- De Sardet: These ruins are very strange. By what name did you call this place again?
- Síora: The díd e kíden nádaigeis. There was once a battle in the past. A great victory for our clans.
- De Sardet: Strange indeed. These walls are completely foreign to the styles of your own dwellings. Does this name that you gave the ruins mean anything in particular?
- Síora: Yes, it means “ruins of the first guardian.”
- De Sardet: I would like to dig around a little on the site. We might be able to unearth clues as to who actually built them.
- (Upon finding a survivor) Síora: Over there, I think that man is still breathing! Let’s make sure!
- (Upon healing a survivor) Síora: You now have enough strength to return to the village. Find Arwant, he will take care of you!
- (Upon finding the last survivor) Síora: Another warrior who survived! I do not think that we’ll find any more of them now.
Heal all the survivors (5 hrs)[]
- Síora: We healed them all, thanks to you. May the grass always be soft beneath your feet.
Find Queen Bládnid[]
- Wounded Alliance Soldier: I beg of you. Help me.
- Síora: And still you dare to breathe! How can you hope that I am here to save you?
- Wounded Alliance Soldier: No! I…
- Síora: What have you done with my mother?
- Wounded Alliance Soldier: Pity! I…beg of you. I…I don’t want…to die!
- Síora: Then answer!
- De Sardet: Síora!
- Convince her to stop
- De Sardet: Stop! Look at yourself! You’re acting like a beast.
- Síora: A beast has far more majesty than these monsters who have traded their souls.
- Wounded Alliance Soldier: They have taken her. The queen, they took her.
- De Sardet: Then she must still be alive, they wouldn't have bothered to carry away a corpse.
- Síora: She would have chosen death before capture. They must have wanted her alive. We must find her.
- (Result: Síora does not kill the Bridge Alliance soldier)
- Encourage her
- De Sardet: Need some help?
- Wounded Alliance Soldier: They took her… The queen…
- Síora: We must find her! I will not leave her to their whims!
- (Result: Síora kills the Bridge Alliance soldier)
- Convince her to stop
- De Sardet: If your mother is in the hands of the Bridge, they’d have taken her to their closest camp.
- Síora: Promise me that we will do everything we can to bring her back.
