Síora is a character in GreedFall. She is a doneigad and the daughter of the leader of the Gaís rad clan. She can be romanced by a De Sardet of any gender.
History[]
Síora is one of the daughters of Bládnid, the màl of the Gaís rad clan of the village of Vedrhais, and the clan's doneigad.
Her father, Meb, was the doneigad of their clan until he was killed by Bridge Alliance soldiers. This tragedy deeply affected both her and her twin sister Esled, as well as their mother, who never recovered fully from the loss of her partner.
She is a talented magic user and very devoted to her culture and beliefs, but also curious about the settlers. Unlike most Natives, she was able to see past their differences and issues with settlers and traveled to New Serene to seek assistance.
She is 22 (born in 1212 after the foundation of Serene) according to the intelligence gathered on her in the De Vespe files.
Romance[]
You can flirt with Síora after your first meeting with Constantin, on your way to see her mother, Queen Bládnid. You can ask her if she really thought you were a native the first time you saw each other: she will tell you that, aside from your clothes, you look just like an on ol menawí. Síora is not fond of cheap compliments or cheesy flirts, so instead open up to her and reveal your discomfort with the resemblance for the best response.
The next dialogue to gain her favor will be after the main quest, The Battle of the Red Spears. You can ask why she and her sister are so different, and Síora will tell you that Eseld is not on ol menawí like her, and they have different tempers. Ask her what she was like as a child to unlock a sweet answer.
You can ask Síora about the loss of her mother after completing her first companion quest, Find Queen Bládnid. She will tell you she's angry and sad about her departure, and blame herself for having not been on the battlefield. To continue the romance, tell her about leaving your own mother and how you felt you should've stayed with her. After this conversation, you will be able to ask her if she has any friends that she can talk to. She replies that she usually talks to her sister, but as Eseld is also grieving and blames Síora for their mother's death, she doesn't have anyone to confide in. Offer to listen to her to gain Síora's heartfelt gratitude.
After her second companion quest, Promises Set in Stone, you will unlock new dialogues with her. Ask Síora how she knew the missionaries were lying, and she'll emphasize that her mother would never have given up her beliefs for an alliance. Express your understanding about the nature of their culture, this will be an important key to win Síora's heart.
When you complete her last companion quest, The Queen's Farewell, you can ask Síora what she intends to do now, and if she wants to resume her role as the doneigad of her clan. Tell her you would understand if she had to return to her people. Assuming you chose the appropriate responses earlier, Síora will ask if you'd like to spend some time alone with her. She will confess her feelings to you; if these feeling are mutual, she will ask if you could be her minundhanem, her "soulmate," and express her love in her native tongue.
