Princess Livie De Sardet is de Sardet's ailing mother who is slowly succumbing to the Malichor. She is the sister of Prince d'Orsay and aunt of Constantin d'Orsay. Livie De Sardet is described as being both warm and affectionate to the player character during their childhood.
Background[]
At some point during her earlier life the Princess married General Marc De Sardet. Although we do not see Marc De Sardet in the game since he died right before the player character was born, it is reported that in his paintings within the royal palace De Sardet looks like him.
Spoiler warning: The following text contains spoiler for the plot
De Sardet later discovers that the paintings were actually edited to hide Marc’s true likeness in an attempt to render his image more like him/her.
It is believed that the Princess succumbs to the Malichor, perishing within her chambers in Sérène Palace while De Sardet is in New Sérène.
