Kurt is a character in GreedFall. Kurt is a member of the Coin Guard and a melee combat master that can wear heavy armours. He is one of the companions of De Sardet, and a possible romance option for a female De Sardet.
Background[]
Kurt was born in 1199 after the foundation of Serene (1302 after the foundation of Peren). He is a Captain of the Coin Guard, and was formerly Governor Constantin and Legate De Sardet’s master of arms and bodyguard. His parents were both guards but he was brought up by a prostitute and trained by a man named Hermann, known both for his greatness and for the torment he puts his recruits through.

A female De Sardet can pursue a romantic relationship with Kurt.
The first opportunity to flirt with Kurt is when you speak to him and select the dialogue option "Whether he ever felt lonely." You can select either response without affecting the romance progression, but select "Tell him that you thought you were keeping him good company for all these years" for the designated romance option. If a male De Sardet initiates this conversation, Kurt will make it clear that he's not his type regardless of the response selected.
The next chance to gain points with Kurt is after completion of his first personal quest, Missing in Action. You can ask about his attachment to Reiner, to which he'll respond by asking if you're jealous of this attachment. Choose to "Tell him that it was so that you could understand him better" to gain 2 reputation points and progress the romance. You can also ask Kurt if he had any pleasant memories of his childhood. Choose to "Ask him to tell you about a happy moment" to progress the romance.
After finishing his second personal quest, Amongst the Ghosts, you can ask Kurt about his relationship with Rolf. He will describe it and ask if you didn't experience something similar with Constantin. Choose to "Tell him about a childhood memory with Constantin" to progress the romance and gain 2 reputation points. You will also unlock a dialogue about Kurt's relationship with Sieglinde. After Kurt replies, choose the option "Tell him he still manages to surprise you"; this will give you an additional successful flirt.
After finishing Kurt's third and final personal quest, Settling Scores. you will unlock new dialogues, one of which involves asking him if he's begun to think about the future. Choose to "Tell him you hope that you will be a part of it" to further progress the romance. The next time you'll talk to Kurt, he will ask you to spend time alone with him. If you accept his proposition, the next time you venture into De Sardet's bedroom, Kurt will ask if you still wish to be with him. Upon accepting, a cutscene will play. The romance will lock in afterwards if you choose to "Tell him you love him too." You can still reject him during this scene if you choose to "Tell him that it was nothing more than a pleasant moment."
The De Vespe Conspiracy adds a conversation with romanced Kurt that allows you to either propose marriage or suggest keeping him as a lover after a political marriage to someone else.
