Gold coins is a currency in Greedfall. They are used to purchase many things in the game. Players often can find gold coins on corpses or in chests together with other items.
In some locations, gold coins can be found lying openly on tables, ready to be picked up. At the moment there is no law enforcement if players just steal coins from tables (e.g. taverns), even if they lie next to an NPC they could belong to.
