Sir De Courcillon is the tutor of De Sardet and Constantin d'Orsay, as well as a professor and senior advisor from the Congregation of Merchants.
He is introduced at the beginning of the story, and remains a reliable source of both information and advice for De Sardet throughout the game. Once settled in New Sérène, his office is quartered inside the Governor's Palace, on the floor above Constantin's throne room. He plays a minor role in multiple side quests that involve diplomatic knowledge or bureaucratic paperwork.
